Χθες έκανα τα updates (όπως κάθε φορά που υπάρχουν διαθέσιμα) και σήμερα ενώ μου βγήκε η εισαγωγική οθόνη για login του linux mint, όταν έβαζα τον κωδικό μου έβγαλε το μήνυμα:
Your session only lasted less than 10 seconds. If you have not logged out yourself this could mean there is some installation problem or you may be out of diskspace. Try logging in with one of the failsafe sessions to see if you can fix the problem. (-/.xsession-errors file)
στη συνέχεια τσεκάροντας το check box για να δω λεπτομέρειες μου έβγαλε:
initctl: Unable to connect to Upstart: Failed to connect to socket /com/ubuntu/upstart: Connection refused syndaemon: no process found /etc/mdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup... localuser:τοόνομαχρήστημου being added to access control list
Δοκίμασα διάφορα που βρήκα αλλά τελικά δούλεψε το παρακάτω (που δεν το είδα κάπου και έτσι το παραθέτω μπας και βοηθήσει και κανέναν άλλον):
apt install mintupdate
